Annual check-up by TSA

I didn’t know that TSA airport screeners were such good primary health care providers. This must be part of the health care reform efforts to improve preventive care. I think I just got a pap smear update here in Richmond airport trying to get my elderly father (in a wheelchair) out of the snow to Florida. They do need to work with the TSA staff though to improve patient-provider communication stratgies:

“M’am, spread your legs more now or I’ll have t do it for you.”

Oh yes, and then they decided my small bag of cornmeal from a local mill was suspicious and I think they confiscated it. Compliant ‘patients’ of TSA will do fine. A note: it’s not a good idea to tell the TSA pap-smear examiner: “America, the land of the free and the dumb.” You may not get to Florida.

  1. Direct violation of the Fourth Amendment ” The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures”. They present us a false choice that its either government radiation or do things that are way past being acceptable. No other people or nation puts up with this and neither should we. Don’t fly, write your representative, Janet Napolitano, the airlines, whomever. Put these fools out of business.
